The BUSTER® Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Training Course

Phase I is conducted in a classroom environment where the students will receive a general overview of all of the subject areas that cover the BUSTER® UAS system.

Phase II is the hands-on training and evaluation portion of the course where the students will receive individualized training and be evaluated on their ability to perform the task necessary to operate the BUSTER® UAS system.
Phase III is the GCS training portion of the course where the students learn all of the operation capabilities of the GCS. The students will also learn mission planning and conduct simulator training on the GCS. The students must show the ability to plan, load and fly missions on the simulator before moving on to Phase IV.
Phase IV of the course is where the student will conduct missions in a field environment using the BUSTER® UAS system. The students must be able to perform all subject areas covered during the course and score a minimum of 70% on the final exam in order to successfully complete the BUSTER® UAV Training Course and be certified.
